Lace up and strappy sandals are going big and they are one of my spring-summer shoe trend favorites.

The styles now very popular are those inspired by the nineties sandals so with low and thin strapping and low heels and for lace-ups sandals it’s more African inspired design from Kenya or traditional japanese style.

Lacing details are like ballerina’s kick very fragile and feminine. I love wearing these sandals with dresses and also with nice tailored pants not too long just to see well the shoes.

If you have wide ankles I suggest to prefer straps over lacing and go for strappy sandals that reaches just the begin of your ankle bone.
