Rue Yves Saint Laurent

During my short stay in Marrakesh, I discovered the Majorelle garden that is since 1980 property of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé . Indeed, Yves Saint Laurent lived in this beautiful landscape where now stands his memorial. This elegant setting is an extension of the master and his creations. There are many exotic plants, such as cacti and giant bamboo , bright colors on plants’ pots and a indigo color on the walls of the great designer’s villa. We recognize the refined style of Monsieur Saint Laurent in that elegantly decorated and finesse garden. Besides, I recommend you go and see the movie dedicated to him now in theaters. I watched it just before my stay in Marrakech. We discover that he is happy when creating new collections and therefore only twice a year.

I understand why this garden was for this unforgettable artist a great source of inspiration , I hope to have it too after my visit.
