It’s amazing how easily you can create an outfit inspired by runway shows. I love Michael Kors collections and actually I already own some bags and a nice mongolian lamb fur vest from this label. I would purchase everything from his collection if I had all the money on earth. Meanwhile I got inspiration from his fall 2017 show, styled like a working girl from the 80’s with menswear attire that gets feminine with buckle belts that sculpts figure and adds an elegant touch.
I mostly made this outfit with timeless pieces of my wardrobe and some found in thrift stores. You can easily find oversized suits from the eighties, long and large shirts, blazers with antique prints all that can be accessorize with a bold belt in a good quality material, preferably in leather. So it’s an investment but you won’t regret it as you can use it almost your entire life. Note that you can also find great one in vintage stores. Now I love wearing large buckle belts. Note that I already posted an outfit with a belt from late 1980’s owned by my mom you can see here.
