MAKE COLORFUL & HEALTHY SMOOTHIES



For breakfast I was running out of ideas. I wanted to have something healthy that brings me lots of vitamins but without added sugars. Without added sugars does not mean without sweeten taste. I wanted good sugars. Fruits are a good source of fructose to eat in moderation. So I generally use them in juice or smoothie in the morning and I make sure to make good association. For instance, I always take a vegetable, a half fruit then another fruit that will give the sweetening power like banana, pear, mango and even beetroot which is actually a sweet vegetable. To motivate me and not get tired of smoothies, I set a everyday goal, make a juice of a different color every day. Today, color of the day is green. I picked 1 kiwi, 1/2 apple, 1/2 pear, 1/2 cucumber, several kale leaves and some drops of lemon. I add water or coconut water or almonds milk or rice milk to make my juice fluid and avoid the stew. I blend all the ingredient with my super blender and it’s ready!
