3 Key Pieces To Polish Your Comfortable Outfits

Dressing up, taking care of your appearance when you are working from home plus the weather is cold and grey is not motivating at all. But when I decide to move my butt for dressing up I frankly feel more energetic and ready to do something of my day! Here are some of my top power pieces and effortless combinations to elevate your casual fashion staples.

I’m wearing yellow cardigan similar style available here; here and also there, Zara camel leather pants might be soon sold out similar style here with size long, here or check more similar items inspired by my outfit here.

The Blazer Jacket

Clockwise: Blazer, tee and jeans H&M; necklace Jenny Bird; loafers Sam Edelman.

Straight leg jeans are definitely the shape to wear now and throwing on a tailored blazer jacket dismisses efficiently the too casual side of jeans. Add a piece of shiny gold jewelry for the finishing touches.

Note that if you have a limited budget an oversized blazer is one of the most versatile piece, it can instantly transforms any casual outfit! I bought many blazers for less than $50 at Zara, H&M sales, in a vintage stores and my unique favorite leather Chanel jacket for less than a thousand.

Elegant Pants

Clockwise: Straight leather pants Ganni; Ribbed knit cardigan And Other Stories; Earrings 8 Other Reasons; Kitten heels Inc International Concepts at Macy’s; Tote bag Elleme.

Right now I prefer straight relaxed fit leather pants. It feels more comfortable due to the cut but it is still elegant with the luxe slightly glossy texture. I’m also a wide tailored pants fan like I used to wear at school in the late nineties paired with perfect white sneakers. On top it’s always fitted to balance with the bottom, it means second skin tops like for instance, a ribbed cardigan worn as top.

Turtleneck Sweaters

Clockwise: Sleeveless turtleneck sweater H&M; Link chain drop earrings Simon Miller; Midi skirt Topshop Boutique; Tall boots Loeffler Randall.

Effortless, classic, Michael Kors himself love them so much it’s a must have for your wardrobe. I can’t even imagine spending the winter season without wearing turtleneck sweaters. I think it’s a minimalist basic that brings a maximum impact. The higher the collar the better. It’s mandatory to add eye-catching jewelry, like elegant chunky hoops earrings or a statement pendant necklace. On the bottom you can add some contrast with a midi leather skirt or a little more glamorous with a slip dress paired with tall boots.
